Dark Knight claws it's way to over 1 Billion worldwide. Current Box Office Stats

This weekend The Dark Knight reached the Billion dollar mark worldwide. Dark Knight which sailed in sales in the U.S for months but seemed to lack high sales in other parts of the world still managed to become the 4th movie ever to reach the 1 billion mark in box office history. The Dark Knight officially has made $1,001,082,160 worldwide to date. The amazing stats in this number is the fact that as of February 19th the Dark had brought in $533,090,262 in the US alone and being the 2nd highest grossing movie in the US behind Titanic's ending US gross of $600,788,188. The Dark Knight also ranks already #12 in Inflation-Adjusted Top 20 Movies Released Since 1977.
