Man Arrested After Pumping Gas Into A Imaginary Car

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A Frankfort man was arrested on drug trafficking charges early Sunday morning after he was reportedly pumping gas into an imaginary vehicle. According to the arrest report, Metro Police arrived at a gas station at First and Jefferson streets in Louisville and immediately smelled marijuana coming from Joshua L. Moore, who station clerks contend was filling up an imaginary vehicle. Officers searched Moore and found “two large baggies” of marijuana and a large amount of Ecstasy. Police said Moore also had a cell phone and a large amount of money, which they said was indicative of trafficking. Police said that more narcotics were located on Moore when he was being booked into Metro Corrections.

53 winless race streak ends for Kasey Kahne

What was a nail bitter final 10 laps in tonights Nascar cup race at Lowe's MSP Coca-Cola 600, Kahne took the checker flag for his first win in 53 races. Kahne who just came of a win during the All Star Race last week at the same track stayed within the top five almost the entire race, took first after Tony Stewart hit the wall causing a flat tire to cross the finish line in first. Kahne had not had a win in over a year and a half scored his 3rd win at Lowe's and his 8th career win in the cup series overall. Most importantly Kahne moved from 14th to 12th in the points putting him back in contention for the Nascar Cup championship. Kahne's team-mate Elliot Saddler also scored a top ten coming in 8th.

Man sentenced 6 Years for growing pot

LAMBERTVILLE - A Lambertville man has been sentenced to six years in state prison after police discovered he was growing 18 marijuana plants, police said.

Police said George Axel Wieschenberg, 46, pleaded guilty on Jan. 25 to maintaining or operating a marijuana production facility and admitted he'd grown marijuana plants in a wooded section of a farm in Delaware Township. Police said Wieschenberg had formerly rented a house at the Rosemont Ringoes Road farmhouse.

Police said the investigation began after a state police helicopter pilot noticed very large marijuana plants in a secluded section of the farm. State police eventually proved that Wieschenberg was watering the plants and removing leaves. - Story From nj.com

KISS' 1977 Comic Book To Be Released In France

To coincide with KISS' return to France with a concert in Bercy (the group's first appearance in the country in nine years), Wetta will publish the French edition of the 1977 Marvel Comics full-color KISS comic book presenting the band as superheroes. A "variant cover" edition limited to 100 copies will be available for collectors, as well as a Hard Rock magazine special edition, also limited to 100 pieces.

For the original comic book, blood from each KISS bandmember was drawn by a registered nurse, witnessed by a notary public, and poured into the vats of red ink used for printing the comic at Marvel's Borden Ink plant in Depew, New York.

This was truly sad when I found out. it happened this mothers day. - Grimpuppy

This has been the most difficult week of my life. My father passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Mother’s Day. I had just been with him a few hours earlier and he was his normal upbeat, energetic self, joking around with my kids and me. Around 6:45 PM, he was up on a ladder in his back yard working on a roof for a deck that he was building. My mom went out to check on him around 7PM and he was on the ground, face down, laying on his head and shoulder and his face was purple. There were boards lying on top of him. Apparently, he had fallen off the ladder while he was working. He wasn’t breathing and had no pulse. When I got there the paramedics were working on him and trying to revive him. I begged and begged my father to come back to us, up to the very last second that they loaded him in the ambulance. They continued to try to revive him at the hospital to no avail. I was in the room with him holding his hand and weeping over him when the doctors finally gave up and called the time of death. At first we thought that he died as a result of the fall. However, the doctors, nurses, and medical examiner believe that he had a heart attack and then fell off the ladder. He was still so young and had so many more years to live.
