Dexter Season 4 Trailer!

Here It is folks in all it's glory and it is freaking awesome! The trailer is fairly long going well over 3 minutes and has alot of shockers. The main one for me I would have to say is The new villain who is played by John Lithgow from 3rd rock from the song and Cliffhanger. This was one of the first T.V trailers to ever really give me the chills! I can't freaking wait. Enjoy this wonderful trailer I sure did! Dexter premiers on Showtime on Sept. 27th 2009. - Grimpuppy

SCI FI Channel to become Syfy - scifiwire.com

Building on 16 years of water-cooler programming and soaring ratings growth following its most-watched year ever, SCI FI Channel is evolving into Syfy, beginning this summer, Dave Howe, president, SCI FI, announced today.

By changing the name to Syfy, which remains phonetically identical, the new brand broadens perceptions and embraces a wider range of current and future imagination-based entertainment beyond just the traditional sci-fi genre, including fantasy, supernatural, paranormal, reality, mystery, action and adventure. It also positions the brand for future growth by creating an ownable trademark that can travel easily with consumers across new media and nonlinear digital platforms, new international channels and extend into new business ventures.

"Imagine Greater" will become the new brand message and tagline, inviting both consumers and advertisers into a new era of unlimited imagination, exceptional experiences and greater entertainment.

Syfy more clearly captures the mainstream appeal of the world's biggest entertainment category, and reflects the network's ongoing strategy to create programming that's more accessible and relatable to new audiences. Syfy will continue to celebrate the traditional roots of the genre, while opening the brand to accommodate a broader range of imagination-based entertainment.

"Without abandoning our legacy or our core audience, we needed to cultivate a distinct point of view with a name that we could own that invites more people in and recognizes our broader range of programming with literally something for everyone," Howe said in a statement. "Syfy allows us to build on our 16-year heritage of success with a new brand built on the power that fuels our genre: the imagination. Syfy ushers in a new era of unlimited imagination, exceptional experiences and greater entertainment that paves the way for us to truly become a global lifestyle brand."

Syfy—unlike the generic entertainment category "sci-fi"—firmly establishes a uniquely ownable trademark that is portable across all nonlinear digital platforms and beyond, from Hulu to iTunes. Syfy also creates an umbrella brand name that can extend into new adjacent businesses under the Syfy Ventures banner, including Syfy Games, Syfy Films and Syfy Kids.

Additionally, as the channel's footprint expands rapidly around the globe with the launch of more international channels, Syfy meets the need of a globally relevant, trademarkable brand that stands for something unique to the brand in each territory.

The new brand evolution will launch in July, in tandem with the premiere of the new scripted drama Warehouse 13 on air and at SCIFI.COM, backed by an aggressive marketing campaign, which will kick off this spring.

(SCI FI Wire's name will not change as a result of this new branding.)

First Look At Family Guy's Star Trek Hostages - io9.com

By Meredith Woerner, 8:00 AM on Mon Mar 16 2009

Two weeks from now, the cast of Star Trek TNG will reunite in cartoon form. Just about everyone from the cast of TNG is appearing on an upcoming Family Guy episode — take a look!

In March 29th's episode, Peter and family head to a Trek convention, where they each get to meet a castmember from Star Trek: TNG — and I cannot wait to see what Peter will say about the disgusting relationship that was Troi and Riker. The episode is called "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven," and according to Fox:

Stewie blows a fuse when he doesn't get a chance to ask his favorite ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation' cast members any questions," reads the logline. "He devises a plan, builds a transporter and beams the entire cast to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog. - Story and article from http://io9.com.

Review: The Simpsons Game - Nintendo DS

The Simpsons game at times is fun and at others you just want to swear up a storm at it! The game play is very smooth and very few flaws or glitches are found within gameplay. The Simpsons clips are fun to watch but being on the DS the animation is not the best being a little blocky and slow. Within the game you get a chance to be all the Simpsons... Bart, Homer, Lisa and Marge. The game starts of with Homer dreaming in Chocolate Land. Out of all the Characters the best and strongest is Bart this is because of the many things Bart can do compared to all the other characters. The weakest character is Marge who only powers is the ability to form mobs by shouting through a Megaphone and using Maggie to crawl into small spaces to unlock doors and gates. Prepared to use the stylus stick to play the game as Lisa's special power known as the Buddha Hand is used through out the game making you use the touch screen to move object and lift Lisa to higher places in the game.

The game is filled with stages that are both easy and hard. The toughest stage I found was using homer to out run the Giant Donut Lad... I played this stage over and over trying to learn how to get through to the other end. Another fun thing within the game was that during a certain stage you had to battle it out with certain characters from Futurama including Bender. The sayings and quotes of both the Simpsons and other characters of Springfield can both be funny and annoying. Overall this game was very fun when I was not swearing at the DS. Below is my stats and final score of the game.

Total Play Time Tell Finished: 6 Hours, 46 minutes and 31 seconds. With 97% complete.

Replay Value: Fairly high since after you finsh the game you can play all levels, watch all movie clips, play with Pet Homer and play all the mini arcade games.

Overall Score: 4.25 out of 5

Final Thoughts: I recommend this game to anybody including Simpson's fan. I really don't recommend this game to really young or non hardcore gamers for reason that the game can get really Difficult. Fun game, great colors and great replay value makes this a great game to own on the DS.
